Kharkiv was founded in 1654 starting as a fortress and evolving into a centre for Ukrainian manufacturing and culture. Explore the second largest city in Ukraine by taking our best Kharkiv tour which will start you in the Kharkiv city centre where you can view historical Ukrainian architecture, learn about the city’s history and try the local food.

Attractions, Monuments & more

Let’s start with our Gorky Park. It’s a place where you can feel yourself like little children playing, riding the roller coasters and admiring the whole city from the Ferris wheel. After that, we can have a cup of good coffee or fruit tea in a nice café and continue our excursion on our main street Sumska. There are a lot of beautiful and old buildings. Then we will make a stop at Freedom Square to take some amazing photos on one of the biggest squares in  Europe. After visiting Shevchenko Park, we will go back to Sumska Street. There we can see  Kharkiv State Academic Opera & Ballet Theatre and Mirror Stream fountain. There is the Kharkiv History Museum named after M. F. Sumtsov down the street. Afterwards, we will finish our little excursion at the Eternal Flame.

Religious Heritage

Spiritual beliefs and religious traditions are of great value in Ukraine. The tour enables you to visit the Annunciation Cathedral where we can see the relics of St. Athanasius, Patriarch of Constantinople. The Assumption or Dormition Cathedral was the main Orthodox Church of Kharkov, Russian Empire until the construction of the Annunciation Cathedral in 1901.
