How You Can Help Ukraine
When a crisis occurs, we often see the sprouting of fraudulent attempts to solicit donations. The recent Ukraine crisis is a good example. It’s hard to navigate all the news, links, and misinformation to determine which charitable programs are legitimate. Once you choose one, there’s the question of whether administrative expenses will eat up most of your donation before it gets to the cause.
Our charity partner has operated with local volunteers in Ukraine since 2016. With their help, we have put together a list of organizations, volunteer groups, and other information to guide someone that wants to help out.
At this time, we have created a Ukrainian Crisis Relief Fund that provides children and families with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, and medical care. We have volunteers working in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa. If you are in Ukraine and would like to volunteer and fulfill a local need, please let us know by completing our charity’s volunteer enrollment form.
Here are other ways you can help Ukrainians in need.

Host Ukrainian refugees
Families, children, and refugees are seeking safe places of shelter around the world. You can save lives by providing a place to stay.
- Find groups and global services that can help host refugees in your area/country (NGOs, local communities, etc.)
- If none exist in your area and you feel you can help – create your own Facebook groups and/or local initiatives!
- Reach out to local authorities and inquire about organizing official refugee programs.
- Contact your Ukrainian friends and find out if they are heading to the borders and need help.
Become a medical volunteer
Every day more and more families and children need medical assistance due to Russian aggression. Soldiers need emergency medical aid. Ukrainian medics sorely need assistance both on the front lines and in the rear.
If you have medical experience – you can save lives!
